UNITED METHODIST COMMITTEE ON RELIEF (UMCOR) 


WHAT DO THEY DO? 

UMCOR is dedicated to alleviating human suffering around the globe. UMCOR’s work reaches people in more than 80 countries, including the United States. They provide humanitarian relief when war, conflict, or natural disaster disrupt life to such an extent that communities are unable to recover on their own.

-Send Relief Supplies (all details on the organization website)
   •  Bedding Kit
   •  Health Kit

   •  Layette Kit
   •  Sewing Kit
   •  School Kit
   •  Cleaning Bucket

Once made up the kits are sent to one of two supply depots. Then, volunteers assemble, verify, and pack the kits so that they can be sent to where they are needed most.

MISSION GUATEMALA  

WHAT DO THEY DO? 
Mission Guatemala works in the highlands of Guatemala in the community of San Andrés, Semetabaj. They strive to help meet the basic needs and improve the quality of life of under-served and impoverished Guatemalan peoples. 

WHAT CAN I DO? 
-Donate money 
-Pray 
-Volunteer on an adult trip (every February from NUMC) or on a Youth Trop (every 3 years during the summer) 
-Donate pharmacy items during our annual drug drive.
