Faith Promise Missions
The mission of the church universal is to “preach the good news to all creation” (Mark 16:15) and to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19), by not only teaching others about Christ, but also taking care of their phyiscal needs
(“Feed my sheep,” Jesus commanded Peter in John 21:15-16.
A faith promise is not a pledge of the church but a promise to God. It goes beyond regular giving to NUMC. It is most of all, an exercise of faith. You make your promise not knowing where the money will come from, but trusting that the Lord will supply.
