Date: Friday, Oct 7, 2016 - Sunday, Oct 9, 2016
Location: Camp Indicoso, 1558 Sieboldt Quarry Rd, Springville, IN 47462
Cost: $160 for family of 3, $25 for every additional child
Who: Families with youth-aged kids (6th-12th grade, particularly middle school parents)
On the weekend before the Warrick County Fall Break we want to encourage families of youth-aged kids, particularly those with 6th-8th students to attend together. Our aim is to provide a stress-free setting where teenagers and parents can spend time together having fun eating and worshiping together, recognize each others strengths and begin to learn how to share their Christian values and faith with one another.
Our retreat theme is “Sticky Faith”. This is the kind of faith we want to have: a faith that sticks with us throughout our lives. We want to partner with youth families as they nurture the development of a sticky faith in their teenagers. We want our youth to have a faith that is internalized and externalized, that is personal and communal, that is mature and maturing. Your family needs a plan and this retreat will give you the opportunity, time and space to do that. This is an incredible opportunity to set the tone for your family has you navigate your children’s teen years.
